Helsinki Christmas Market 2016

Helsinki Christmas Market brings light and warmth back to Helsinki and into people’s hearts! The openings are on Saturday the 3rd of December starting at 4 p.m. The Market is located next to Helsinki Cathedral, right in the heart of Helsinki’s New Old Town. Besides beautiful architecture you can enjoy the singing of choir Cantores Minores. Everyone is welcomed to join some of the most loved Christmas songs.

The carefully selected vendors at Helsinki Christmas Market sell food, crafts and design. The Market offers Finnish quality products which people can see, taste and feel at the spot and take home to their loved ones. The vendors offer a wide variety of Finnish delicacies such as jams and jellies, fish, reindeer and quarry products, candies and traditional pastries. We are also happy to announce that some of Finland’s top-notch restaurants are joining the Market with Christmassy menus and drinks.

In the middle of Helsinki Christmas Market you can find an old-fashioned carousel – and it’s free! If this isn’t enough to bring Christmas spirit into your heart, then the real-life Santa Claus will. He can be found at the market daily from his own hut.

The Market is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and during weekend from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
